The Time is Now

There is no better time to address fundraising letters than now.

The end of the year is fast approaching. Fundraising letters provide an excellent opportunity to raise revenue in a short amount of time.

Compelling letter to donors and prospective supporters on to your mailing list has the potential to increase your end of the year revenue.  Send letters to friends, neighbors, and businesses.

Choose one project your organization wants to complete. Focus the message on that particular item and use stories, pictures, and information. Let donors know how achieving that goal can make a difference in the community.

Then sit back and wait for the donations to arrive.

The cost of a fundraising letter is $200.00. That is a great deal considering there is no copyright; you own the letter; you can use it multiple times. It will pay for itself the first time you mail it. And the next time you send it  –  the profit is all yours.

People like “freebies” and it increases donations. Use magnets, mouse pads, or chip clips. The cost is minimal in comparison to the potential return in $$$$’s. Think about how excited you are to receive a ‘gift’ in the mail. Anything easy to stick in an envelope will work.

Use donation levels of $50.00, $100.00, $500.00, and a blank line for ‘other,’ well you get the idea.
